Big Win for Waikato Motor Group

Waikato Motor Group has won the medium size enterprise category (15-49 employees) at the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards.
 
The awards recognise business excellence in the Waikato region, and is hosted annually by the Waikato Chamber of Commerce. The Awards black tie dinner was held on Friday night 11th November 2011, at the Claudelands Event centre, and was attended by 420 business leaders.
 
In accepting the award, WMG dealer principal Tracy Martin described the company vision of striving to build life long relationships, and of ensuring that customer experience with the business is enjoyable. She acknowedged the team effort of the 30 staff of Waikato Motor Group.

Other category winners were ABE Auto Body Equipment (less than 5 employees), Mum 2 Mum Ltd (6-14), and Milfos International Ltd (over 50). Mum 2 Mum, an export business selling baby products to retail outlets worldwide won the overall Waikato Business Execellence Award. Bernie Crosby of Prolife Foods won a Distinguished Leader Award, and Arthur Pitcher of Sky City, Leader of the Year.
